Hi,

 

I am currently waiting for the delivery of my car.

 

At the mean time, I wish to start looking at possible options that I could have to upgrade the stock sound system.

 

I am not an audiophile, can't really appreciate good reproduction of sound.

 

As a reference, I am using the Altec Lansing ATP3 2.1 speakers for my computer. It consist of two satellites (each 6 Watts RMS, has two 28mm full range and one 3" mid-bass) and one subwoofer (15 Watts RMS, 6.5" in wooden cabinate).

 

Only 27 Watts RMS in total. Yet I am very satisfied with it. The treble is high and the bass is strong. Hope to get at least something similiar for my I.C.E.

 

Budget wise I am willing to spend up to 800 only if it can be justified, because the Altec Lansing speakers just cost around 70 bucks.

 

BTW, my car comes with the Pioneer 8650 HU.

nice ATP3 i am using as well, your HU is nice enough just spend $800 on a nice component + amp (2/4 ch), if possible, add another sub

bro , u cant compare and use Altec Lansing as a benchmark or reference for ICE lah, not a fair comparison at all. But for 800 i believe bro Headshok can do soemthing for you.
