Microfiber query

a silly question but can i use microfiber wash cloth (the glove type) to wash the car with just water and not shampoo. any damages ?

Technically speaking, yes. But why would u do so? A shampoo has lubricants thats lessen the chance of you pulling the dirt across the surface of your car thereby reducing chances of adding scatches. I guess it also depends on how dirty your car is. But even light dust would also cause scratches imo

Use a sponge dude. Not those for washing plates ah. Get those for washing car. Typical supermarkets should have. No more than 3 bucks i think. Or go Autobacs lah. They're having sale these few weeks. I bought some barang barang from there too.

not a good idea to use just water eventhough wash mitt is a good washing medium.

sheepskin wash mitt is another type of good wash mitt. autopians have rave review about it....

So if i just klassed my car, got some dust i wanna clear them, the proper procedure is to use water & wash mitt to clear izzit ? or is there any better way?

If your car has light dust, you can use a QD and an extra plush MF towel to wipe off the dust.

Yep this seems like a very popular MF sponge. it sure is cheap!

 

but it does seems like the MF is rather thin... so it may be good for trapping light dust, but may not be good enough to prevent marring on your car paint. But then again which product can guarantee no scratches!

 

so just be careful, dun press hard while washing your car with it. Soak it with your car wash and let it glide on your car surface.

I feel that you use the cotten chenile like meguire ones and with just water is good enough... but remember be gentle... and rinse often...
