Passim 1st Gear April 5, 2006 Share April 5, 2006 It depends on a few factors, e.g. the present paintwork condition of your car, the type/brand of polish/wax used, machine job or hand job And also polishing and waxing can mean different thing. I saw offers in shopping mall carkparks S$38 for waxing.......
Nutty 4th Gear April 5, 2006 Share April 5, 2006 In your opinion, which one is better? Machine job or Hand Job?
Passim 1st Gear April 5, 2006 Share April 5, 2006 (edited) This is a loaded question as there are different schools of thoughts. Some claim that machine polish inevitably produces fine line scratches and if machine polisher is non orbital type then this might lead to swirl marks. BUT on the other hand, the best paintwork finishing is done by hand untitled.bmp Edited April 5, 2006 by Passim

XLR8 1st Gear April 5, 2006 Share April 5, 2006 this shop at the singapore post centre's carpark...i just sent my car for polishing... $68 is considered worth it. If its $100-200plus for a one time job, then I think its not worth liao in my opinion. DIY better and save the money.

Scrambyjess Neutral Newbie April 11, 2006 Share April 11, 2006 Heard from a friend got a mobile grooming service which charges $48-88 (depending on car sizes) which package includes washing, claying, polishing and wax. Think they using autoglym products. Friend did his car and results are much better than my own DIY. Any advise if its reasonable to try? normally do any other mobile groomers offer claybar service? ↡ Advertisement
