Agreed bro Turbonectics. It's more cosmetics than anything. I thought by considering the one with the security feature would be better than just push-start. Either that, it's aftermarket immobilizer system or aftermarket car alarm system, which I'm not sure whether it'll work on my Aveo.

bro

I noted that you have Summit Strut Bar and Summit Crank Pulley fixed in your ride. Mine is an Optra - where to fix the strut bars and crank pulleys? Can let me know the costs and where to fix them. Thanks very much.

The starter button wif security feature quite a good choice cos it has a quite fool proof sytem.

It can only start after detecting a predetermined sequence of button pressing.

Example. The starter button flashes in 3 colours green red & yellow representing Day,month,yr respectively. So if you starting ur car on say 3rd of June 2006 you need to press the button 3times when it's flashing green, den after a few secs the red lights flashes and u have to press the button 6 times, finally when the button flashes yellow you press the button 6 times.

The anti theft auto-restarts when u cannot complete the sequence within 20 secs and after 3 unsucessful tries, the system will permanently kill the starter fuse.

Apparently they tested this security feature in a medium security prison in States and several High Schools and no one has been able to crack the code or sequence without instructions.
