Understand it should be around $600+ include installtion at Chuan Sing, Fong audio and Thrust Motion. However, not sure if the hissing noise is high. 360.2 is better with time alignment but price is 2 x. I thinking of installing one too but better audition it first.

Some people said that Hi-low converter from Motion control LC6 or Genesis combine with Alpine 701 is better performance than 360. This combination is about the same price as 360.2

using the 3sixty now.yes, the hissing sound is high. the perf is not as good as i expected it. my former ride was using a 3 pre-out HU and the rest of the amps and speakers are the same. my verdict is the 3sixty is average. better to get a HU with 3 pre outs and tune from there.

can listen to my setup, its OEM HU, 3 way active front and 1 sub woffer. no rear speakers.

hope this helps the bros out there. [:)]

the rockford will flat out that for you when they sum up. i think my tuner not knowledgeable in 3sixty. he insists the sound will be better with a rodex 4 band pre amp. he charges $200 for that...which is more than 2x the market price.

Mr Chop Y*ng M*h want to piggy back a ROLEX (of all things!) on top of a rockford???

err.. he's reputable for what ah? Rolex ah?

do NOT listen to that, even if he charges you $50, which is 0.5x the market price.

i'm not familiar with the 360.1 but i believe it should perform decently, so the poor performance probably isn't really the hardware, but probably the tuning/installation. if 360.1 got TA, should be quite ok mah. if dun have, then a bit the screwed.

anyway, do entertain us a bit more by going down to him and asking what his rolex will do to your sound that can result in improvement :)

i meant he said the 3sixty is a waste of $$ and asked me to fix a rodex pre amp instead of the 3sixty. he said things like double amplification and so got distortion. he said with the rodex pre amp, he will set all the bands to zero and need to modify the factory fitted HU to the pre amp to boost up the signal output, etc.

i thot 3sixty does all that, so did not take his advise to swop the 3sixty for rodex.

hope this clarifies.

I been considering this 3sixty as well, and was doing some read up.

I think 3sixty.1 does not have TA, only the 3sixty.2 has that.

Most of the folks in US recommend to flat out the output from stock HU (not sure how that is done) before tunning is done.

The other issue is that you need to have a Palm OS for the tunning, and depends highly on the product knowledge of the tunner.

I suppose this is something "new" in this aspect of the industry where most tunner are more familiar with convention ICE tunning.

Would like to learn from your experience and please keep us posted on your progress.

Am seriously considering this solution.

Many thanks thumbsup.gif
