any1 figured out the meanings of the different offsets?

e.g. i found an offset for my model of CDR drive on the web pages. it's +667. however, i'm wondering if that's the read offset, or the write offset, or the "combined".

and if i use it as "combined", that means i don't have to set read & write offsets at all?

actually this whole idea of offset is to prevent loss of a few frames at the start / end of the entire disc, but it does not affect the content in the middle hor.
