Amp spoilt and speaker rattling

hi guys...as stated in my previous posts, i had purchased a second hand 4 channel amp (RF) and also second hand Rainbow component speakers (not sure of the model). Recently, the rear channel seem to go bonkers. My rear speakers had a lot of distortion and after consulting my installer, he says its the amp. However, the front channel is still able to be used.

But now, the speakers are giving me trouble. One of the speakers are giving me rattling sound. My installer said that the speakers are faulty.

Since I really enjoyed the sound by my set up, how much is the cost of the Rainbow component and is there a way to repair the RF amp. The reason I want to repair is that I can't afford a quality 4 channel amp at the present moment.

Btw..im into SQ and listen more to strings like acoustic guitar

running active or passive? if active crossing low, and the speaker that's spoilt is the midbass, i'm looking to get a new pair of Dayton RS180-4 midbasses for about $160-165 a pair. might be suitable for u. but if passive etc, then not so suitable for your rainbow set.
