How do pass the inspection with those mod in your car? My 1st inspection coming soon, i did some mod on my car, replace extractor & operate muffler. Do i need to change it before i go for the inspection? hope to hear some advise...thanks!

Is the muffler u operate on the original muffler? If yes most likely u will pass provided there's no visible welding lines. Extractor they usually dont bother.

yes, was operated on original muffler, am afraid was the sound different!

They do test the sound level too. If urs is too loud frm stock, u will fail on this part.

Mufflers in the factory are welded by MIG welding automatic sets.Our exhaust shops are using gas welders - the joints are very easy to detect if you have the training.
