Hi,

 

Is it normal to have different gap from the fender to the tires? For my rear right the gap is 2 fingers, for my rear left the gap is 3 fingers. I checked it on level ground. Is this normal? I had just change the shock and spring.

I have the same experience with my 2001 Ody and my altis. I have checked with a few installers and they all say its normal.

I don't think its normal. Bring it to another workshop to have it checked.

don't seem normal unless u have additional load in the car causing the car to lean to 1 side..

Can you confirm it is the rear right that is lower than the rest? You must check this when the car is standing on completely flat surface. This was the case for both my cars.

yes. completely flat and level surface. I try multiple area to confirm it.

Confirm not normal. I just went for adjustment of springs and had the same problem as you. The reason for that was bcoz they forgot to adjust one side.

front and back don't have to be equal spacing, afterall, the rear can sit more people, heavier and will sink down more.

 

as for tilted to left or right, i'm not sure. Some say normal, some think it's abnormal.
