Bro, better play safe. do it in parallel strokes..hehe

Even when drying and washing my car, i try not to do circular motions

to prevent swirl marks. [;)]

It's true to a certain extent.

For my last ride, I used circular motion. No matter how careful and gentle I was, there were always swirl marks. But I was using paste wax that time, so I'm not sure if that was the cause.

Now, I use parallel strokes. First horizontal then vertical (to get even spread).

There doesn't seem to be any swirls. However, now I only use liquid wax.

So there's no way to tell if it's the type of wax or application method that causes swirls.

No expert here but I would think that swirl marks got to do more with washing/drying than while buffing/polishing?

For washing/drying, straight lines in direction of airflow, at least until I'm tired [:p] Same goes for claying

i second this opinion. been using it for the past 3 months. shine is good with deep gloss!

spray a little on one part of car. spread thinly using MF applicator or cloth. wipe off using dry MF. no need back breaking buffing! so easy, im doing after every car wash for that deep glossy shine.
