Joining large cables

you guys DIY'ing, how have you been joining large cables?

e.g. 4 gauge power.

 

if dont use distribution box, let's say u have one coming from battery, split to 2 for amps. how u guys connect at the split?

 

same method for ground i suppose.

 

think some amps can daisy-chain one power to the next, so that saves some headache, but can't daisy-chain ground leh (i think).

ghetto method is to just wrap the cables together, then 'seal' it with soder.

it will be better to re-pull the cable from battery then join it by solder right ?

my solder not strong, hard to solder highly conductive stuff ...

the heat just gets drawn away ....

this one need those mini blow torch, abt $30.. heheh..

 

this one, dec i we settle lah.. just get the fuse holder lah. hehe
