anyone can advise me where can i do a proper and resonable price sound proofing

 

was quoted $320 for those buitmen material but using heat gun to install - am afraid as time progress this material will dropped off.

 

i suppose other sound proofing brand are like SILENT...

Depending on what type of material you like to use?

 

I did my sound proofing using Dynamite Extreme which is definitely better than the material used by SILENT as that is their house brand material.

 

Did my 4 doors single layers at $235 using 5 pieces and floor plan at $450 using 10 pieces.

there is a shop having december promotions in some car forums.Doing 4 doors for $120(1 layer),cable hunter material too.

 

whats stopping me is the additional weight.cos 1 layer wont soundproof alot also.

Take note: not only single layer, you have to specify how much material is been use. With a good coverage, single layer is good enough for sound proofing but not as good as double layer for ICE.

Normally you require one complete sheet of Cable Hunter for a door to achieve good result. So don't just as for single or double layer only as for how many is been use and how long it takes. Time ~ workman ship quality
