why cannot, make a tiptronic mah. auto+manual swee swee

auto+manual better to have DSG than tiptronic. Latter is still an auto tranny in construction and power loss will be more.

Dont fark around with some sleepers. I ever sat in a friend's V6 quattro before in is country n the road was snowy/wet. His is also a wagon n he just went pass a speeding porsche like no business. Also demonstrated to me how he floored the throttle to turn right at the turn of green at a traffic junction. [thumbsup][thumbsup][thumbsup]

Farking mad angmoh !

err...pardon me but whats so good abt this car. design wise just an ordinary station wagon.

the good thing about this car brother, is that people not really in the know don't know what is so good about this car, and they will think that it's an ordinary station wagon. :) ultimate sleeper baby.

That's the beauty of sleepers - I saw a post at the Subaru forum, there was a Rex trying to overtake a "slow coach wagon RS6" on the NS highway...and he got a shock.

:) have seen Evos in SG roads underestimating the RS6 as well.

B7 RS4 Sedan - 343k

B7 RS4 Avant - 353k

RS6 - approx 450k (only 3 registered)

The new breed of RS will basically be manual.

The design brief of audi is to have manual RS cars. (the VAG group has autoboxes that can take >800-1000NM)

RS will also have twin pipes at the rear to distinguish them from S cars (quad pipe).

RS6...dun play play!

S-Tronic is the marketing name for the twin clutch gearbox.

VW call it DSG.

the OEM manufacturer is BorgWarner

purists cars will always be manual in the design brief (carrera GT, audi R8, new RS et cetera).

niche cars never sell in volume anyway so the manufacturer is not looking for that to begin with.

Would u choose a RS6 or a M5?

I guess a M5 would be my obvious choice. =D

Maybe those guys wanna be special and choose a audi when a super beemer is ard the same price?

RS4 is a respectable car, even Jeremy Clarkson complimented after his drive in a red RS4 in the TopGear show I saw. He said the new BMW M3 had better be as good n the RS4 is one good car AUDI built.

I believed the new M3 will be at least on par if not better, which is always the case whenever BMW,AUDI,MERC releases a new model by their performance division where they will add more performance to their cars than the existing models of their rivals
