Icarus 1st Gear December 25, 2006 Share December 25, 2006 I stay in HDB... and want to use my KP600.. realized the plug at my MSCP is this type : My 3 pin plug can't fit into this socket as the socket is somehow bigger. Anyone knows if there are any convertors we can use? Djcoolmax 2nd Gear December 25, 2006 Share December 25, 2006 (edited) That's a 15amp socket. Maybe you can get this to convert the plug head. But I think if you plug in your 13amp socket into this, you may blow your 13amp. Anyone from the EEE can confirm? Dermocyma Neutral Newbie December 25, 2006 Share December 25, 2006 (edited) indeed. i thought i read somewhere that thou should never steal from this garment. the 15a socket with right adapter should power the device. however, like it was said, if there is a earth leak and short, the breaker maynot trip correctly or fuse will not blow which will result in device damage. if i recalled their design correctly, there is a main breaker somewhere in this kinda public power supply, u need to switch it on first. otherwise there may not be electricity supply. anyway, pls check live with testpen before use. good luck.
