I think the Sunny VIP facelift is pretty cool... now they have a 109 bhp engine instead of the previous 105... which means Nissan probably tweaked the existing engine... but the disappointment is that the VIP does not come standard with sport rims any more...

I am pretty sure one can squeeze the SE for the sports rim right? [sly]

Wow!!....thats ex man....me got my at $65900 including leather seats! the agent tried to get me to top up for the coe but i didnt go for it...maybe that's why it took me 4 bids b4 i got my car...anyway, i asked for an upsize on the rims to 15" (and no...it didnt cost me 50c) and the cost was $680 inclusive of LM702 tyres...not sure if kanna kertok or not...Btw, anyone knows if the Ultra grounding system being offered by nissan is any good??? costs is $168 for this period only...well....into my second week with the car and have already gone for the 1k servicing...am facing some wheelspin when trying to move out of first gear from a stationary position. Wonder if I'm being too aggresive on releasing of my clutch at too high a RPM...or are my tyres too pumped up. currently trying out 35psi

U experience wheelspin so easily?? Better be careful or esle u will be the favorite customer at your local tyre shop!

Actually to do a good century sprint timing, one has to have wheelspin. That is why I try not to do that too often since car tyres not cheap indeed. [laugh]

Hmmm.. didn't know that, tot all it does was wear out your tyres super fast. [:/] with all that loss in gripping, wouldn't it result in a poor getaway??? [confused][confused]

Dude, u sure or not?

I don't mean to be doubtful, but I had a friend who's a mechanic, and an avid production-car racer(in melbourne). He told me that excessive wheelspin at the starting line will slow down you down, coz while you're doing "ballet" on the starting line, your competitors will have launched themselves forward already.

Thus Wheelspin = Bad.

that's why the formula one cars have traction control to prevent wheel spin. When wheels spin, basically there's no grip, so car remain stationary while all the noise and smoke come out. Quite comical actually.
