Assassin Clutched April 21, 2003 Share April 21, 2003 i wanna try put charcoal in my car to keep air free of bad odours.... how to do it:- do i buy crushed (or whole piece??) charcoal and put it in an old stocking/sock and put under the seats???? Thanks Charcoal pieces like those you buy for BBQs will do fine. You can put them in a sock/stocking will do. Dont crush them or else the 'powder' will drop out through the holes in the stocking/sock. You can put them anywhere in the car that's hidden from view. Super7 Turbocharged April 21, 2003 Share April 21, 2003 one wurry tho: will the charcoal leave stains on the floor carpet thru the sock???
Assassin Clutched April 21, 2003 Share April 21, 2003 Wow!!....thats ex man....me got my at $65900 including leather seats! the agent tried to get me to top up for the coe but i didnt go for it...maybe that's why it took me 4 bids b4 i got my car...anyway, i asked for an upsize on the rims to 15" (and no...it didnt cost me 50c) and the cost was $680 inclusive of LM702 tyres...not sure if kanna kertok or not...Btw, anyone knows if the Ultra grounding system being offered by nissan is any good??? costs is $168 for this period only...well....into my second week with the car and have already gone for the 1k servicing...am facing some wheelspin when trying to move out of first gear from a stationary position. Wonder if I'm being too aggresive on releasing of my clutch at too high a RPM...or are my tyres too pumped up. currently trying out 35psi Your wheelspin might be because of the tyre pressuere use. You might want to try between 32-33 psi to see if gives you better grip and less wheel spin or not.
Assassin Clutched April 21, 2003 Share April 21, 2003 Side wall tear ? gee...this one you really need to change the whole tyre..cant patch up liao. I bought a can of tyre inflator [s$7] this morning from Concorde [Jalan Lembah Kallang branch] and rubberised spray [s$8.50]. All b4 the 15% discount. Hope I wont get a chance to use the inflator. Assassin Clutched April 21, 2003 Share April 21, 2003 (edited) If you really want to be safe...place the charcoal/sock in a small open tupperware container and hide it under your car seats. Otherwise a piece of plastic underneath it wll also do, but make sure its weighted down or the sock will slide around..esp if your right foot a bit heavy.
