so if we r to pump air to our tyres......is it better cold or hot? but i dun think so we could pump the tyres cold as we have to drive to the pump station, unless we have a set of pump ourselves....anyways....advice?

Of course it is better to be cold, but even if you just drive around the corner to pump air, hot already.

What I do when I want to pump air in my tyres is to pump around 230-240 kpa the night before, and the morning before I go to work, I use my tyre gauge to measure and bled off until 220 kpa.

If you so particular, go and get a tyre gauge with a bleeding function.

Try and pump early in the morning or late at night...and if possible at a petrol station nearby. If unable to do so...and the tyres are already heated....pump 1psi more than your usual...by the time it cools down...it should be about right. nod.gif

What some of our members do is to pump about 1 or 2psi more...go home..next morning...use a tyre pressure gauge [with release valve] and release to the desired pressure. nod.gif

Hope this helps. wink.gif
