This is a reply which I received from a UK Vehicle exporter which penned a thread in MCF. Seems like PI Skoda could be a reality in SG. However the warranty coverage is still unclear.

 

Dear Sir

 

Yes, we can supply RHD cars in all models of Skoda and export to Singapore , including the new models which are going to be launched .

 

Skodas are also sold by dealer in Singapore and so they should be able to withstand tropical climates, however we will find out from Skoda here in England UK and also about the warrantee.

 

Below is are the document which you will need from our side to import cars into Singapore, which we can provide when you purchase the vehicles

 

1.Invoice company location must near Port of origin.

2. BL cannot show transshipment details.

3. COC certificate , 2 sided details emmision directive, dimensions of car, manufacturing details.

4. Letter of newness from UK authorize agent. ( must be within 3 month from manufacture date to Singapore )

5. Euro4 vehicle compliance documents

 

We can also provide you contact details of customs clearence agent in Singapore who will clear that cars fro you at Singapore Customs port.
