Yesterday, I programmed the driver seat position and the side mirrors using the remote control key memory as written in the car manual, and both settings works fine whenever the car is unlocked via the remote control key.

 

But we encountered one problem though- when the gear is shift from "D-drive" to "R-reverse", the side mirror does not reposition itself to point downward like it used to.

 

What have I forgotten to do? I've programmed the side mirrors for "D-drive" gear, do I need to do the same for "R-reverse" gear too?

Did you change the side door mirror adjustment from left to right or vice versa?

For the E46 model, the side mirror control must be switched to left side. I have done that check already but it didn't help.

 

So I wonder do I need to program the key memory for the left side mirror in "R-reverse" gear too?
