Is anyone here successfully using Sony's PSP-290 GPS attachment with their PSPs in the car? Am thinking of buying it but would like to get some feedback on it before I do.

Cheers! [;)]

You should be able to get it at most shops which sells psps, around $90+

I believe the software bundled with it will not work properly here, but there is a 3rd party software called MapThis which seems to be able to as it uses imagery from google maps. What I do not know is whether it will be hassle-free to use the software, was hoping some people here are users [:p]

Read somewhere that its only available at Jepun now but must buy additional antenna. I suggest u buy a proper GPS bcos some PDAs, phones or other gadgets that coupled with GPS may have a lot of software and hardware issues (the antenna is a good example - these gadgets as they are not really designed to be a GPS, the antenna may not be that strong... some may not even get any signal in a car with solar film). A proper GPS is not really that very expensive nowadays. [:)]
