Where can i get the UNIFY TV tuner?

I will prefer Nera over Unify or other Taiwan brands of Digital Tuner as Nera is made in Singapore and used islandwide in all SBS Bus or Taxi.

 

The clarity of the picture definitely better than those in Unify and other brands of digital tuner.

I was at SLT last weekend, can't remember which floor, think topmost. Very good price he quoted me. Otherwise go to digistream's website, they list their dealer contacts there.

Actually I was under the impression that Unify is the installer of TVmobile systems in our public buses. I think must be the salesman who said or poison that to me. Anyone from SBSTransit can confirm ?

 

In any case, I found that Unify is local product. And if I am not wrong Smart-I too.

Unify is made in China and Smart-I is local brand but made in their factory in China.

AWARD OF CONTRACT BY TELEVISION CORPORATION OF SINGAPORE PTE LTD

 

On 6 June 2000, Nera Telecommunications Ltd (the "Company") had released an announcement confirming that the Company was working with Television Corporation of Singapore Pte Ltd ("TCS") to provide the necessary infrastructure and technology to equip 2000 buses with TV digital services relating to the TCS TVMobile Launch (the "Contract").The Board of Directors of the Company is pleased to announce that the award of the Contract has just been finalised. The contract sum is approximately $30 million which would be subject to a further increase of a sum of up to approximately $12 million at the option of TCS. The Company will be supplying and installing the equipment relating to TCS's TV digital mobile network and system and its testing, commissioning and maintenance (the "Work").The Work is in various stages and income/revenue to be recognised in connection with the Contract will depend on the completion of each stage of work. As such, depending on the progress of the Work, contributions from the Contract may have a positive impact on the results of the Company for the financial year ending 31 December 2000.None of the directors and substantial shareholders of the Company has any interest, direct or indirect, in the Contract.

Bro, check with you. Wonder whether you had experience from the receiver from Innovasiatech when reach ECP Mac area got any distortion to the extend will hang or not?

Sorry brother that I cannot help you on this as I did not install any product from Innovasiatech so far.

 

As for Digital TV Tuner, you all can try on SanSui Digital TV Tuner and it is cheaper than Nera, I just got it installed in my new car and so far, the signal is quite good.
