But it's at night?

Hi everyone,

On behalf of SASCA-IASCA SINGAPORE, I am proudly to announce that we will hold our second IASCA Singapore competition this year in August. SASCA is the sole organizer of this event.

1. Date: 26th Aug 07 (Sun)

2. Time: 7:30pm

3. Venue: Singapore Post

The competition will have two categories namely:

SQC CLASS 1 - SOUND QUALITY CHALLENGE 1 - 600 WATTS RMS

SQC CLASS 2 - SOUND QUALITY CHALLENGE 601 WATTS RMS and ABOVE

Some basic rules and regulations of the competition:

-Maximum cars per class: 20 cars

-Number of judge per class: 1 judge

-Fees per car: $180 before cut off date / $250 after cut off date. (Register early to avoid disappointment)

-Cut off date: 10 days before event (which is 13th August 2007)

-Identification: Vehicle log card and I.C.

-Lots will be drawn before competition starts. Late paticipants will have points deducted and be the first one to judge base on the timing being late. Once the competition starts, late comers will not be entertained and there will be no refund of competition fees.

-Professionals are not allowed to compete in this event.

-To speed up the time of verifying their classes, information of product (Power of Wattage in 12 Volt DC @ 4 ohms) in hand would be nice.

-Award will be given to the Top 5 of each class.

-Don

Singapore Post is at Paya Lebar MRT there...the main Sing Post Center...

Hmmm...wonder where they will conduct the competition...cannot be in the car park...and on top, i wonder how cars can go in....

Just a warning to those driving there and parking inside the building and your car has bodykit or is lowered.....the exit is very steep....I already hit that slope twice before...cracked the front before there also...so just be weary...used to be able to clear but i think the exit sank somewhat so now it's even more steep...best is to park at the car workshops beside...free :)

Guys Thanks for the support , i would like to stress again , the timing is 7:30AM. Please do not go at night. It's early morning in the morning for the participants to gather and get ready for the compeition. Alright all said and done, as IASCA-Ed mention, it's gonna be a fun filled event because this is one compeition where no professionals are allowed meaning that all participants are not from the 12 volt industry. So send in your applications and remember to attached your payments because no payments means no application.

Do send in early as we only have a limited alloted car parks for each category. HAVE FUN GUYS~!

I am in India still but i will come back during August for the competition to help out and cheer u guys on~~~!!!
