Red Ford Focus

This Focus looked pretty good at first but soon I was to discover the paint is scratched all over, with stubborn tar stains all over the lower panels.

PC seemed to do little against the scratches so I switched over to the rotary with a white pad, using a mixture of Opti Polish and Compound.

Full process:

ONR + Clay + Dry

Rotary/polishing pad/OP mix OC

1 layer of EX-P

Tyres got BoldnBrite

To round it off, it was a difficult and long detail. EX-P was just wonderful, very easy on and off with great slickness.

Defect removal about 80% I reckon, time to get halogenssweatdrop.gif

Wow bro, your car looks very nice. I'm driving a black focus. Have given up trying to polish my car. Everytime I polish the car, about a weeks time, it's back to it's dirty self again [smallcry]

Nice work bro, the red is wet n glossy [thumbsup]

If you have time, try the Natty's blue over the Ex-P after allowing it to fully cure for 24hrs. The paint will drip even more [thumbsup][sly]

Hi,

Unfortunately its not mine to keep, for black cars there's no way out, it either looks damn good or it looks like..... [laugh]

Using a good sealant or wax will enable subsequent washing & drying much easier though [thumbsup]

Hi bro,

Thanks for your comments and advice [thumbsup]

I'll try out that EX-P + Natty's Blue combo next time round [nod] I'm a sucker for dripping wet red paint~

The bonnet was in fact 2 layers of EX-P with 24hrs in between (just for fun [:p][:p] )
