the lower the colour K value, the more yellowish it will be, when the colour K value goes higher, it will turn to blueish. as a standard guide,

 

3,000K=yellow >>> 6,500= natural sunlight colour >>>> 10,000K= blueish colour

2000K is really yellowish. Most HID don't have 2000K.

 

4000K is white with a slight tinge of yellow, stock JDM-look.

any1 knows whats the fine like if kana caught with HID installed? When go yearly inspection, do they check out for this items as well? And lastly, will HID installation void manufacturer's warranty?

inspection they sure fail u if urs is aftermarket one...

 

but projectors those new cars.. tat is already on HID. they oni make sure is the 4300k light color.

 

 

wareenty depends on ur car agent, v strict sure shoot u to void.

 

fine... think dun know 50 or 150 plus inspect.. .should be

If your cars comes with a projector lens with just 6000k HID & below, it's quite safe lor, not 100% but 95% even you go for your annual inspection. As for the fine, if not wrong should be $500.00. Lastly, whether to void the warranty all depends on your Agent. [wave]

I myself fixed on the Philips HID from Germany, if you want something cheaper but better then those "palia" brands, you may try Xelux. Anyway, went to Super Import Night yesterday, Philips have promotion there for HID, quite a good buy... [thumbsup]
