laugh.gif Offset: The distance from the centerline of the wheel to the face of the mounting surface of the wheel.

BTW here's somemore definitions FYI : Back Spacing: The distance from extreme edge of rim to wheel mounting surface.

X Factor: Caliper Clerance or Brake clearance.

18inch...hmm...big size and lots of unknown certainties...best to bring the sample down to tyreshop and ask them to fit onto your car, then turn your steering wheel left and right fully to see whether it hit or cause any abrasion any part internally...18inch looks nice...but oil price going at US$100 per barrel...i think it is more wise to stick to original size for your own pocket

Hi Just for your Info, with tires of this size, what you'll get is better holding & stability, at corners but expect higher fuel consumption of at least 10%.

You can also fit on BBK for added braking power. Also expect to pay more for the 18" tires when the time comes. Abt $200+ to $300+ per tire, depending on Make & country of origin. [cool]

usually u will feel more bumpy, 2ndly more noisy, 3rd your car can corner more, 4th eat abit more petrol depends on d thread pattern.

ur sizes can be 225/45R18 , 235/45R18 or 245/40R18 according to http://www.efxsoft.com/sgtyres/tr1.asp?vie...mp;rimbrand=RMT as rim width around 8inch wide, d centerbore can use hubrings, not a worry.

best you take 225/45/18 more common ,Mitsubishi recommend 215/45/18 for your car (very rare tyre)
