Silverado1 Neutral Newbie November 18, 2007 Share November 18, 2007 You should expect your FC to go up. Better road holding & very stable in steep corners.

Silverado1 Neutral Newbie November 21, 2007 Share November 21, 2007 Shouldn't b a promblem. But ride wouldn't b too comfy ! It's Performance Vs Comfy. You should b using super low profiles! ( 40 or 45 )
Gilahonda Clutched November 21, 2007 Author Share November 21, 2007 tell me bout it...tink 45 shud be gd enuf...coz with 40, more chances of the rim getting scratches. wudn't wan that to happen.
Gilahonda Clutched November 21, 2007 Author Share November 21, 2007 btw, wats the meaning of "offset +42"?
Silverado1 Neutral Newbie November 22, 2007 Share November 22, 2007 Offset: The distance from the centerline of the wheel to the face of the mounting surface of the wheel. BTW here's somemore definitions FYI : Back Spacing: The distance from extreme edge of rim to wheel mounting surface. X Factor: Caliper Clerance or Brake clearance. Tyreboy Neutral Newbie November 22, 2007 Share November 22, 2007 18inch...hmm...big size and lots of unknown certainties...best to bring the sample down to tyreshop and ask them to fit onto your car, then turn your steering wheel left and right fully to see whether it hit or cause any abrasion any part internally...18inch looks nice...but oil price going at US$100 per barrel...i think it is more wise to stick to original size for your own pocket
Silverado1 Neutral Newbie March 6, 2011 Share March 6, 2011 Hi all, need info and suggestions if the rims & tyres of this dimensions; PCD5 x 114.3 offset +42 plus 18inch tyres will fit a lancer ex?if yes, what can i expect during driving with this new tyres? Hi Just for your Info, with tires of this size, what you'll get is better holding & stability, at corners but expect higher fuel consumption of at least 10%. You can also fit on BBK for added braking power. Also expect to pay more for the 18" tires when the time comes. Abt $200+ to $300+ per tire, depending on Make & country of origin.
