Hi guys,

Any comments on this car? Thinking of changing to this car but seems like there are not much discussion on it. Any owners or forumers care to give some pointers eg. FC, interial, exterial, cost Vs other similar models, likes, dislikes?

Thanks alot for your input [:)]

Bro, there's actually two forums whereby u can go into for feedbacks on the car.

www.subarulegacy.sg

www.legacyclubsg.com

Thumbs up to the legacy gt, both interior n exterior i still enjoy the look after driving it for more than a year liao...FC wise, u can expect btwn 6.8 - 9km/litre (stock). Last but not least buy a lgt and fix on the legal HKS silent hi-power and i'm sure u'll come to like the exhaust note. hahah [thumbsup]

Two close colleagues have it - the 2L version. From their feedback:

FC not that fantastic, between 6 to 9kml.

Interior is well built.

Servicing every 5K iirc, so abit siong. But reliability is generally excellent.

Stock brakes no good, stock handling also not that good.

Dislike the turbo lag but love the turbo surge. sly.gif For packed city driving, the lag can be irritating.

It's quite a good sporty auto saloon if u ask me. Value for money, except for the 2.5L road tax nowadays.

haha.. is it still 5k for the legal exchaust and thanks for the feedback bro. i think 260bph should be enough for me until i got accustomed to it lol.. Hw long is the TC lag?

FC is dependant on driver. My LGT 2.5 is giving me avg 9km/l.

Servicing, if you follow AD's recommendation, is servicing every 10k. If you dun go tracking or dun drive like one on a daily basis, 10k servicing is not an issue.

For normal day to day driving, stock handling and brakes are more than good enough.

For the 2.5l model, low end torque is good enough for city driving. In S# mode, no horse run, even in city driving.

No strong rush or surge feel when turbo kicks in for the 2.5l. Turbo kicks in quite linearly.

Subaru 2.5 LGT like.

1. Pump 95

Subaru 2.5 LGT dislike

1. Difficult to mod ICE...

2. No drainage along the roof a) Water spill over to your seat if you leave your car door open b)After raining, do not roll down your window, rain water from the roof drop to your internal door handle...

3. Chassis seam/gap is too big..

4. Too many mod available

5. Have to drive 2nd lane or you will be tailgate

6. Frequently Curb corner

7. Sometimes wrong time estimation for turbo kick-in and nearly ram the car infront especially when you used to linear acceleration

8. When you are in the hurry, most of the time, you have to use 2nd lane or even 3rd lane to overtake 1st lane car.

9. Spend a lot of time in the internet to look for upgrade

10. No auto-window for the passenger

Cheers!
