Help in Scrapping COE car...

I am scrapping my COE car and I need some help here...

 

From browsing the forums and visiting the LTA website, the things I must do is the following *after paying the full loan and getting the logcard*?

 

* Obtain a Transaction Pin from LTA's office at 10 Sin Ming Drive, Singapore 575701 during our operating hours.

* Submit an online application to de-register your vehicle.

* Send the vehicle to one of the Appointed Scrap Yard Operators within 5 days of your online application. Otherwise, the application will lapse and you will have to re-apply.

 

My question is, from what I searched and read in previous posts, the COE rebate is non-refundable in cash??

 

So what do I do with it? I read some posts which say the scrap yard will take 3% if you want cash? Some say 5%...

So are the listed scrapyards have a standard price?

And how long do they take to refund you?

If not what do I do with the paper?

If you are AAS member, can ask them to help you scrap the car. But you still don't get the cash, just the value in paper....
