It is a chemical polish with very little or no abrasives. In very layman terms, the chemicals 'eats' away the paint imperfections (instead of using abrasives to rub them away which can cause swirlmarks if not properly applied) while the resins form a protective layer over the paint surface.

The Autoglym is a very good product and you should invest in the extra gloss protection to compliment the resin polish for a longer lasting effect.

SRP aka Super Resin Polish is pretty good stuff. Used it for the past 3 years on my ride and the result is pretty good IMO. But the EGP is the one to give a miss . Dont be mistaken , I still uses it but the apllication ( Must wait 1 hr to set before wiping off ) and gim-ness really normal only.

Regards to Autoglym's sealent at least , there are better ones out there for me thumbsup.gif

SRp is a cleaner/prep/polish type of product. It should be applied before waxing or application of sealant to get the paintwork ready for protection.

This type of product is applied after wax or sealant unless u want to remove the wax/sealant. [thumbsup]

No, AIO is more of a cleaner polish than a resin polish.

Klasse All-In-One bonds to the surface like wax but doesn't penetrate or change the paint in any way. Most of the time these type of polish are acylic base or are pure selent with cleaning properites. Faster drying time 20-30 minutes.

While a resin polish will penetrate the pores in the paint surface and fill it up. Forming a hard resin surface that will protect the paint. Most of the time these type of polish will contain telflon, sillicon even wax. Slower drying time 30min- 4 hrs.
