window nvr mind....i once forgot to close my BOOT DOOR!!mine's a hatchback...yet i can still forget to close!drove out my carpark...drove a bit to a traffic light...lucky red light.when car stopped...i look at my rearview mirror....n to my horror!!boot door opened all de way!!! quickly got out n close.sure got ppl laugh at me.

It may be good to lose some valuables from his car... only this way, the driver will for life remember to wind up his window and lock car properly.

I left my window down a few weeks ago.. it rained that night.. lots of water entered the cabin.. the aftermath, car stinks and air-con smells for days!

 

but lucky nothing lost

bro...be more careful next time...car sink and smell still okay..can be recovered back, but once the car is stolen or damaged..then there is nothing you can to about it but to spend more $$

The nearest experience of mine to this is when my previous ride's power window got jammed in the down position. Given that it is late at night and no workshop is available. Have to spend the entire night worried about the car but make it a point to park at a prominent spot hopefully with moving traffic my car is safe. It is when I returned the next morning and immediately drive it to the WS and get the window repaired.

 

I did it by pressing the up button and pulling the window up

for the second time, i saw there is a toyota wish in my carpark, parking there with front passenger door half open. i know that car does not have alarm because i once saw the ah pek driver locked the car by inserting his key into the driver door key hole. haha...

I have personally witnessed a patrol car waiting for the driver of a vehicle with one of its windows down at my carpark before. They do help if you bother to call.
