Hi guys,

Was thinking to get a polishing Machine to use.Any recommended machines?

Is the black and decker one good?

I saw the meguiars G220 from the net but dont know whether is it available locally.

Also, can normal wax and sealent be used for machine polish or must i get wax and sealent meant only for machine use?

Ok.I checked with Hypercoat Enterprise and they told me stock for Meguiars G220 will be arriving in 4-6 weeks time.Price is $320 per unit.

Is it worth it?Saw from Autopia.org forum that some recommends Bosch GEX270AE?Is it good? How much does it cost and where can i buy it?

I have no experience with G220..i believe $320 is w/o pads etc...check with Bro Coltagious for his UDM..quite a good deal..

Machine can be used for applying sealant and waxes.. there are various pads for different purposes..smile.gif

Had a GEX270AE, used it with 6.5" Meguiar pads with cost $18-$20 each.

Paid $160+ for it 2yrs ago and it recently died on me, switching to a Makita soon.

You can polish and wax with the machine, just have to use the right pad and product combo.

Meguiar's #80 is a good all round product for light to medium swirls, easy to work with and is available in 32oz bottles.

Menzerna is also great polish though it produces more dust.

I would recommend getting a polishing and finishing pad first.

Use the polishng pad for defect removal and finishing pad for LSPs.

If you need more cut then get the cutting pad or a more aggressive product.

Transformers can get from Sim Lim Tower, pretty good ones @ reasonable pricing.

Yes, the Bosch works on 240V AC.

You can email Hypercoat for the pricing, not too sure if they are still brining in 32oz bottles.

Hi Bro, where to buy Menzerna products in Singapore? Is it cheaper than shipping in from Autogeek? Any idea how much would it cost to get the Nano polish?

Thanks in advance

Accord Corp is the local Menzerna distributor, they have entire German range.

The American range is slightly different and is available from local online detailing shops.

i think buying from auto geek is cheaper

accord crop no longer sells to individuals. Just went down about 2 mths ago they said they have sort of an agreement with the shine garage. unless you but 6 bottles (at 1 liter each). even then they will refer you to their distributer. So now imagine now you have 2 more middle man. 1 bottle of FF 106 is $89. where as auto geek is $68(with free gifts). add in the shipping, i think it is still better buy at autogeek

The Shine garage claim that merzerna raised their price thats why .... but i think it is because there is 2 more middle man

zan trade sells in 6 per carton to the shine garage then they sell to us

i went to accord mah. i told them if the polish can ship from germany to usa and auto geek stills sells at SGD$69. i dun see why shipping to sg is much more
