Jamjammer Neutral Newbie July 31, 2008 Share July 31, 2008 Bro, You better dont advise him in this way. In my company, if you tender your resignation before the VB announcement, you would not get anything - no VB letter, nothing. If you know the bonus is going to be very good and if your prospective employer can wait, then wait till you get the bonus letter and tender straightaway. But on the safe side, you should wait for the money to come in then it's safer. Just in case, they give you bonus letter and yet withold the money in the 11th hour. Once money is in, no need to return. If they pay you VB and want your money back, dont give in, just complain to MOM. VB is for last financial contribution, there's no rights for coy to demand it back! ↡ Advertisement
