Ahyoo2002 2nd Gear September 24, 2008 Share September 24, 2008 The price of Wish is dropping very fast I tested the Wish about 2-3 weeks back and the nett price is about $71k. Now is $69k
Ahyoo2002 2nd Gear September 24, 2008 Share September 24, 2008 BTW, the 08 Stream should be selling at $72.5k nett (but still can get loan rebate up to $1k) and come with free reverse camera and DVD player. KM is clearing 08 Stream as they will have 09 Stream soon.
Cracker 1st Gear September 24, 2008 Share September 24, 2008 KM Stream is going for 73K ~ 74K BM wish is selling for 69K.. a 2 yr old PI wish is going for ave 55k... decision, decision, decision....
Ahyoo2002 2nd Gear September 24, 2008 Share September 24, 2008 You should also looking year;y depreciation of the car to make a better judgement. New Mazda 5 depreciation is $6.5k a year while 3 years old is only $5k a year. Of course, 2nd hand car is cheaper and hence lesser loan = less interest paid. Also, 2nd hand car is easier to break even while new one you must drive it longer before you can think of changing.
Cracker 1st Gear September 24, 2008 Share September 24, 2008 I did that for Wish...but the difference in depreciation between new and second hand is abt 500 ~ 700 dollars.. Unless my calculation was wrong.
Eliannkenth Neutral Newbie September 24, 2008 Share September 24, 2008 Offering Wish at competitive prices. Anyone keen to know more? PM me...cheers.

GIC said to expect lesser returns... global financial crisis still looming... I think we better spend now if not no chance to spend cause stagnation/recession is coming... muhahaha... Silverjoe Neutral Newbie September 24, 2008 Author Share September 24, 2008 (edited) I think must consider the Aero Tourer... $69K is good price for compact MPV! BTW, Wish is Tom Yam, right? KM increases RSZ... I may not afford if this continue... Edited September 24, 2008 by Silverjoe

I read that the interior and engine refinement is superior for Stream. True? How about the little boot space between both?
Streamtobe Neutral Newbie September 24, 2008 Share September 24, 2008 I think BM is clearing stock for the current wish. My sales friend in BM told me the new wish is coming soon....but it date is highly confidential.... Hope the new wish has rear aircon.....
Jeddie 1st Gear September 24, 2008 Share September 24, 2008 Personally, i prefer the Wish. The back row is more spacious (legroom and headroom). The ride is normal. Stream drives better (better feel of road)...din look at the boot space .... I din test drive the car, my hubby did...those are my opinion as a passenger and mother...:) I got my 3 yr old to go to back seat...its easier for him to get in and out from a wish...than a stream. Silverjoe Neutral Newbie September 24, 2008 Author Share September 24, 2008 Strange, I thought BM should announce new Wish in order to compete with RSZ... Why leh? I always thought Aero Tourer is the new Wish...
Shern25 2nd Gear September 25, 2008 Share September 25, 2008 its 69988, with additional 1k discount off that price..so final price is 68988... any petrol voucher?
Shern25 2nd Gear September 25, 2008 Share September 25, 2008 Actually Wish is only marginally more spacious than Stream, and Stream is only marginally better drives and ride than Wish. So might as well go by your heart and let your heart and sight decide for you.

I may not afford if this continue... inside the engine compartment, i an only see japanese words. inside the passenger cabin, no japanese words but thai and english. SE claim that some parts are sent from thai to jap and our wish is assembled in jap. up to u to believe. Anywhere, with 5yr warrenty, it really doesnt matter if it's made in Thai.
