So anyone using the China made one??? Apparently the smaller sizes are not from Germany.

A friend called his the tyre shop he frequents and was quote $180 before GST for a China made 215/45R17.

Hmm, just not confident of China made one, even though some reviews mentioned that it is not much different.

Change tires also headache.......

I took the plunge for MIC F1 Assym 215/45R17.

I dont have much experience on tire. It's definitely better than my previous RE050.

No regrets. Loving it.

One tyre shop @ Sin Ming claimed to have stock for MIG 215/45/17.

For bro on MIG and MIC F1 asymm., is the country of manufacturing clearly indicated on the tyre?

I seriously doubt there is a MIG for 215/45R17.

From the sources I went to e.g. internet forum and shops, all confirm none. Otherwise, I would definitely go for MIG one to play safe.

MIG F1 Assym are 225 and above.

Anyway, it does not really matter now. Already paid and the experience is still very good.

In any case if the shop really sells MIG 215... let me know. :)

Hi people... i have been using f1as for a while and would like to contribute a review to it...

F1as is a great handling tyre, grippy in both dry and wet (much better then both pp1 and p7) and the comfort is quiet good due to the softer side wal i guessl... but.... and is a big BUT! comparing to previous 2 tyre i have used (michelin PP1 and Pirelli P7) the noise is more noticable...

further more i noticed that f1as make a rather loud roar noise while braking and this is when it is still running in and new... at first i thought it was my wheel bearing and after much checking it was the f1as... and the tyre wear for this tyre is extremely fast 20k... and all the inner side is all worn for the front... ( i did not have problems like this on both pp1 and p7)

Overall i have mixed feelings for this tyre due to the noise and fast tyre wear... but as for grip and safety concern... buy with full confidence...

PS: today i have just changed to PS3... still running in only travelled 50km... so far is a lot quieter then F1as after 10k (really really loud and noisy)

I hope this helps...
