Kyojin 1st Gear January 13, 2009 Share January 13, 2009 Headlight will brighten up abit when depress the accelerator during idling. What's the cause of the initial dimmer light huh? any remedy? you may have a electrical leak somewhere. make sure everything is grounded properly. do you have a grounding kit? if not it could be an alternator problem - loose belt, faulty alternator, loose connection? Brad Neutral Newbie January 17, 2009 Share January 17, 2009 cold rainy day in singapore kyojin ??? no such thing mate... could be a bad earth , or alternator has lost some output because of it's age , or the battery has a dead cell and starting to deteriorate. if the car is still starting normally and everything operates normally , i'd say it's the age of the alternator... just keep your eye on it , and see if it gets any worse over the next few weeks..
