What do you mean ''keep RIGHT, unless overtaking''? Meaning to stay on right lane? If want to overtake....use left lane instead?

 

Yes brother. That's how it is in Singapore. Keep right and refuse to budge. Let the train of vehicles overtake from the left. To hell with them! It's my lane!

Sometimes when ppl overtake me from left and look at me i will do the "head shake" like the indian dance

yeah! It has become a NORM on our road these days... if you can't beat 'em, join 'em...

 

Last night was on ECP towards east from CBD, reaching the base of Sheares Bridge, as usual, all motorist apply brake, so I overtake on lane 1 cruising at my normal 85km/h speed. In front me was a taxi, the 2nd lane was cleared all the way cos all motorist still at their slow speed after the speed camera. Guess what? I overtook at least 3 taxi cruising on 1st lane at less than 90km/h and ironically lane 2 was so cleared that I can overtook them with ease...

 

So am I right to say "Keep RIGHT unless overtaking" ?
