Undercarriage Sound Proofing

Guys,

 

Anyone done undercarriage and wheel arcs or fenders sound proofing? Is that useful in reducing undercarriage noise and road noise?

 

Which shop is good in doing the above sound proofing?

I did mine @ Autosaver. They using the 3M rust & sound proofing spray on type....got 10yrs warranty but must go back to check yearly which I did not do so since 2yrs ago....

not sure of actual price...cos I got mine done up with a voucher which I got from a seller.....but I heard the price to be abt $500+.....

what I know is only paste a bonnet insulation sheet under the bonnet.....which I think most modern cars already have it...

difficult qn to answer, but i wonder if 3M undercarriage spray or sound-clad from tuff kote is better?

I'm contemplating having the undercoating done and wondering about the same thing. I'd be happy with a 9dB drop.
