Joseph22 Turbocharged May 3, 2010 Share May 3, 2010 U speak sense. Out of the group who just go flaming. Yes, All will probably go. Seriously if im a scouser, i would want Rafa to stay and let the real owners stabilise the club first. Get rid of the bit players. Last but not least, dont let Rafa handle the transfer dealings. He can be a good coach but he sucks in scouting players. sad to disappoint you. he is pretty good in scouting. but the one negotiating the deal are not him. he scout, they negotiate. then fail because the player is 1 million more expensive, they feedback to rafa..... 1~2 weeks later.... then rafa 2nd choice all taken up liao. so left with 3rd or 4th choice, or rather no choice. ↡ Advertisement
Edminski 2nd Gear May 3, 2010 Share May 3, 2010 Everytime play back pass, dont know why. See Man city, Arsenal, Chelsea and Man-U play, they dont backpass so often Yesterday Gerrrad's backpass to let Dropba goal is so shameful
Jaggusidhu Neutral Newbie May 4, 2010 Share May 4, 2010 I think he should as he did make a promise of top four and did not stick to it. What kind of manager keeeps breaking promises and getting away with it. Although i am a rival team supporter, there are many players from liverpool that play superb football. They just need a better manager and teamwork and they will find themselves among the top 4 again -Manchester United Supporter

Do you tell the press that yes, we will not make it to the top 4? By doing so, you probably have a safer bet on what it would turn out to be at the end of the season. However, how would your words affect the confidence of the players? Do you think the fans will adore a manager who already conceded defeat when the season is only half way through? I do not blame Rafa for not delivering what he has promised. I know he had done all he could. Every team would like to improve, regardless whether it is buying better players or getting better manager. However, is there anyone better than Rafa who will come to the s--t hole that Liverpool is in now?

JumpySpeedFiend 2nd Gear May 4, 2010 Share May 4, 2010 The following piece is closest to how I feel about Rafa's situation right now. Rafa will be talking to a lifelong Chelsea fan soon about his future. Can only pray that this Chelsea fan can have the interest of Liverpool FC at heart just for that meeting. JumpySpeedFiend 2nd Gear May 4, 2010 Share May 4, 2010 Sacking a Manager wont do the the team any good but sometimes it is the only way forward. I agree. However, with our boardroom turmoil, financial unstability, Rafa going now will be a step back, not forward. Furthermore, Rafa will not be sacked. Liverpool never sack their managers. It will be a mutual agreement on the parting, if it is going to be one..

Honestly, I do not think Rafa will be asking for certain amount of warchest. He just want investment, any amount will do. Do you know that these 2 a$$holes have yet to put in a single cents into our club? Do you know that these 2 a$$holes are still asking for 500m for the sales of the club so that they can make it off with a profit? If I have the money to buy Liverpool, I will not give anything more than 237m for the a$$holes to clear their debt. I would save the remaining funds for stadium and players. Why enrich the 2 a$$holes who care nothing for the club's future but only their own pockets? I really hope that Rafa's love for the city and the fans will make him stay for another year. Ownership issue will not be resolve early enough for Rafa to buy anyone with any kind of funding. Of course, Rafa can sell to buy, as usual.
