I hope some journalist pick this story up and publish....

 

There is a choir competition now on-going in Riva Del Garda, Italy, where 38 choirs from all over the world participating.... of these 38 teams of choirs, 12 have been picked for tonight's Grand finals and of these 12, 3 teams are from Singapore schools....

 

Meridian Junior College Choir (Singapore)

 

Tanjong Katong Secondary School Choir (Singapore)

 

Anderson Secondary School Choir (Singapore)

 

What a great achievement.... waiting anxiously to know who are the overall champions, results will likely be in the blog tomorrow....

i hope none of the kids is reading this, cos i just got to say that Tanjong Katong's outfit is rather appalling....

 

 

and yea, media picking up this news with do much to boost the morale of the participants

That's not their normal outfit. ... that outfit was for a concert last year....

i cant help but notice so many guys joining choir. almost 1:1 ratio

 

no offence but i think choir isnt the most gungho ECA around.

for these schools, the choir members egenrally have no choice of CCA. All Sec 1 cohorts are put through and audition, when they find that you have the voice, you are in the choir. Those who cannot sing can choose other CCA. Choir is top priority in these schools, except for the JCs.
