Is Log Card Needed for Selling/Scrapping the car?

I have just pay up my bank's auto loan and is about to scrap the car. In the past, the Log card is used as prove that I have the ownership of the car but now that the bank has send me the original log card a few years ago, how will one know whether the car is still under a bank's auto loan?

erhh....i have lost my log car long long ago.

apparently, u can simply login to onemotoring website, using ur singpass and find ur log card equivalent info there. it's acceptable becuz it's stated somewhere if ur vehicle is still under the bank's auto loan.

 

and just for additional info...should ur vehicle is still under some auto loan under your name, the ownership can NEVER be transferred out. in another words, the vehicle owner MUST be the same person whom the auto loan is under....

Thanks for the quick reply. I always thought it should be more efficient with the online system and of course, so the original log card is useless...
