Hi all, I noticed that there is a sponge-like thing in between the front doors of the focus (near the hinges area). It appears that the glue is already coming off from mine, and the sponge seems to be falling off. Any focus owners has the same problem and what is the function of the sponge anyway???

This is common for all Focus'(Foci?). Just leave it there, probablyto lessen the wind noise? If you are uneasy, use some glue to stick it together. [:)]

Thanks...i will get RM to look at it at upcoming servicing. [:)]

Make sure that after your servicing, dont let them wash your car. The workers employed to wash your car are really careless. They use the same cloth for both the wheels and the body [shocked]

Maybe if we wash it beforehand they won't bother... [:p]

They would wash it no matter how clean you car is.. [crazy]

After washing, they would sit in your car all wet and sweaty and proceed to park your car in a heck care manner. Saw it with my own eyes [pirate]

Nope, thankfully! Pity the owners of those vehicles. Immediately proceeded to the counter and told them not wash my car!
