I also saw in the ST Life Motoring.

If I am not wrong, Live Traffic updates/news/etc.... require GPRS connection, which require a SIM card, as mentioned in the ST Life. Subscription for Live Traffic needed ?

Though I am AA member, I would not select this GPS due to the high price.

Any review / feedback on Mio Moov S500 / S550?

Garmin is the best. I have given up other brands.

 

For Garmin, the map update is good, can get from various site plus if you know how to do it, you can also install map and route of other countries.

 

As for other brands, most of it have the lousy SLA update which I found the routes are way longer than what I get from Garmin plus for some of their 3rd party map update, you gotta pray that the GPS mapping group / forum doesn't close down or the group does not support map update for your PND due to a newer version that is available on the market.
