For a set of 3 engine mounts it would be about 160 nett, AC belt 30 nett and fan belt 20 nett. You can get em from the stocklist shops and then bring to your preferred workshops and pay for labour. Some recommend changing the water pump as well upon changing the belts because it is located at the same area. Squealing is also a sign of a worn water pump.

I am of the view that changing engine mounting is subject to driving style and driving conditions. Two of them are made of rubber and the other a hydraulic system. Over time the rubber tends to harden and crack. The hydraulic system may leak oil. So preventive maintenance dictates that one change it before it breaks to ensure that the engine is held in place. Look at the area to the left of the engine near the washer bottle and pulleys. That's the hydraulic engine mount. Check to see if there is any oil leak. Then check the area near the forward anti roll bar. You can see the engine mounting behind the gear box, inspect to see if cracked.

did major servicing at river view..cars feels smoother! :D

however i realize the clutch is kinda high, and my knees are tired after driving through peak traffic home.. [:(] and having a problem on my left knee is not helping the situation..

anything that I can do to make it better?

Lowered clutch pedal. Can enquire at Project S. Not sure any other workshops doing it or not.

To be fair though, it is just a matter of getting used to.

hi bro, thanks!

i understand when we change gears,

eg: shift gear 1-2 : let go accelerator, full clutch in, let go clutch, then step in accelerator.

That's supposed to be the smoothest change.

However when i do that, its jerky, ive to clutch out and step in accelerator in tandem..

is this normal?

when you get used to the clutch and accelerator, it will be smoother.

i may be wrong but i try to ensure that the transition between releasing the clutch and depressing the accelerator is seamless. not too heavy on the gas if you want a smoother ride.

HI guys, my swift has this metal knocking sound(pretty loud) when I go pass the hump. This is much obvious and loud with passengner at the back. I had just changed to coilover, previously i heard such sound but it was not as loud. any advice?

Part and Parcel of car suspension lowering. Any underbraces or struts?

If not, it's the metal on undercarriage hitting the hump. Solution is to go real slow..or adjust higher.

First n 2nd gear needs some clutch play n coordination. It's normal.

THanks for the reply, not under brace or strut at all. It doesnt sound like hitting the hump kinda sound, it more like internal metal hitting each other. I am wondering if it could be the structure of the car being compromised, I just had an accident a month ago and the car back of the car was hit quit badly.

hi all..

Anyone had any idea, which side skirt should i get for my ZC11? i will not be adding any body kit to my front of back bumper.

Saw some people using side skirt that cause their back bumper to looks very short.. like middle part is nearer to ground then back, looks quite weird sia.. [knife]

any advises on which to get, so the middle and back part difference is not so obvious?
