175 @soh bros

Good price for a 225/45/18. Is this a soft or hard sidewall? Undirectional tyre?

I am also looking for affordable tyre.

my take on Roadstone aka Nexen tyre.............

size:225/45/18 N7000

Its a very comfortable tyre, sidewall so soft until i thought its was not inflated enough. Came down to check and its 260kpa. If i dint know, i would have thought its a 65 series tyre. Relatively quiet and a great cruiser.

outright grip is short of ku31 in the corner and the steering is vague at best. Though listed as a UHP tyre, it only feels slightly better than an oem tyre, eg BS ER300 or 391.

Wet grip on down pour is nothing to shout home about, normal in this instance.

one irritating gripe about this tyre is that it squeaks easily under harder braking, makes me malu a few times as if i e brake for slightest reason.

in short, an ideal tyre for MPV as it has a load rating of 95 while ku31 listed only 91. A great touring tyre if you dont push it too hard.
