lol hey guess you just got home huh.

nah my friend with the cosmo is in kobe, japan.

its the latest generation that looks like a sleek american late 90s sedan.

its funny i got a few friends also that like to buy singapore cars and they live in the caribbean.

they have some serious chopping going on there, toyotas with an sr20 motor, twincharging, they into all kinds of crazy stuff.

and whats worse is the place is lawless, apparently if you dont tint all your windows black its suicide.

also in an accident you need to get out of the car and start running!

consider the car an acceptable trade off for your life !!! >.<

Well, the Carribean sounds like a nice place...to get yerself kilt!! Not quite the place to buy and restore a classic. Nah, think I'd rather abide the strict laws of Singapore though this COE nonsense has gotta stop. If not, Malaysia's also an excellent place. Many nice old cars there, and the mechanix know what they are doing, that is if you know who to go to in the firstplace lar!

Yeah, I suppose they grew up there and are used to things being that way already. How then, do they manage to maintain and drive nice cars if must run everytime there's an accident?!?

Singapore isn't great I know, but what have I gotten away with thus far? Hmmmmm....let me see... [sly]

Solodex? Nope, what is it?

Really?!? In Singapore?! Jensen Interceptor would be a really nice addition to our roads! Must be the one and only eh?

But I shudder to think of the road tax, it has a 7.8L engine [knife]

LOL dont reply on that one... just dont reply! hahahah.

solodex is a kind of autocross / gymkhana, with some fundamental differences.

its more of establishing a symbiotic relationship with your car and maximizing cornering to best suit your opponents in each round.

each car make has a "pit" that checks and repairs the car after a round.

similar to autocross and the SCCA, they use cones and the purpose is to go head to head in a limited time.

ive seen some pretty interesting mash ups in a dex. swift vs r35 as an example.

oh man i didnt think of it that way.

running through my mind i had speculated it may be a foreign used import thus the black plates were beyond me.

lol the funny thing is, well never know who the owner is. :)
