this hits the nail on the head, that's what my FT colleague told me too. He is maintaining his indian passport cos only citizens can invest in india. Once his kids grow up, he plans to move back to india. I believe that's what most FTs are planning.. :angry:

Frankly.. I don't blame the FTs. They are here to benefit themselves.. they are not interested in how singapore turns out - as long as they benefit. If we ALL had been similarly benefitting I bet none of us would care about this election or whether opposition wins. We are all pissed NOW because we've NOT been benefitting - otherwise already in 2006 we'd have been this pissed.

 

So don't blame the FTs for this mess.... blame the ones who ALLOWED the FTs here in the first place.... the ones that are paid in millions to look after the interests of the Singaporeans in the first place. These are the people who should be fired, and the next better players to take over.
