What's the best method to debadge badges which are not screwed on but 'glue' on? Is the use of fishing line a good way? or there are other better method?

Many thanks [:)]

a heat gun or a hairdryer to heat up the glue so the badges are easier to be removed. thats what i did as step 1 at least.

LOL.... i can help using fishing line to fross your teeth :D:D

since u wanna Floss not fross [:p] my teeth, let me teach u then. dun need fishing line as might cut ur own finger or hairdryer as normally not easy to find socket in carpark too.

all u need is a credit card or use the "SIM cards plate" the plate before u take put ur SIM card. use the card slowly cut/saw the badge and it will come off.

you need to have spirit to rub off the "glue mark" and wax or polish cream to polish the paint

For me I just use a plastic card like some used credit cards or membership cards.. It works.. Just need to get it between the badge and the car body.. Once in, it'll be quite easy..

I just did debadge and replaced with another badge. I used a string and let it slice in between bodywork and badge. After extracting, apply WD-40 to it and let soak about 5 mins thereafter remove residual adhensive. May take longer to remove if the adhensive is there for many years. After which may want to polish and wax affected part since there is scratches from the operation. If you are looking to stick another badge then read this - Apply some glass cleaner if you do not have alcohol swap as this will strengthen the adhensive for the new badge if required
