Difference between buying from AD and parallel importer

Hi, Greetings

 

I owned a 2007 Toyota Wish (Parallel Import- PI), 3rd owner. I went to Borneo motors today for repair on headlamp and drive shaft oil leak. Borneo motor mentioned that they are unable to provide me service support as it's a PI car. Is this a normal? If yes, is there any recommended workshop in singapore or JB that specialized in Toyota Wish repair and parts replacement?

Bro, for Toyota Wish car repairs n svc matters, u dun need any rocket science mechanics to svc your car..

Any decent wkshop scan do the job..

Dun stress over small matters..

Yep.  No support for PI cars from AD.  It is normal.  Does not make sense for AD to support cars sold by PI.

 

There are a few Wish threads in the Japanese Talk forums.  Maybe you can start your search from there.

 

I would say this is the main and major issue when buy from PI. Even when you are willing to spend, they won't sell or repair. Another major issue is recall which happen so frequently lately.
