Chia, from both video can tell that you are a very safe and defensive driver , highly recommend that you drive on the middle or extreme left lane to let more experience driver use extreme right lane.

Cheers

So sorry, I would not cordon illegal road hogging as safe and defensive driving. He can attend refresher driving lessons (likely he may still be road hogging in Lane 2 (where else can others drive?)

Almost mentioned that he ought to be ashamed of his driving skill (oevertaken by lorry when he too slow).

So if other vehicles signal.

Do you

1) close up or

2) do you allow other to pass.

You would choose 2 also right? Unless that vehicle is like abreast to yours.

Be a courtesy driver lah..give way n let people cut in will not delay ur time a lot too..

If u see me on the road I sure give way to u if u wan cut into my lane..

Noted. Thanks.

I did only see the signal after acceleration so causing it to be even closer.

But if the driver signal before the traffic move off.

It will be easier as I do not need to accelerate then brake abruptly.

Seriously driving in SG can be too stressful at times... usually I'll just let these fellas filter into my lane as long as they are not the super reckless type and thinks he owns the road type... as long as I don't have to use my brakes, but just lift of my gas to let him/her in, I think it's fine.. what i can't stad are those who get into your lane and then drive at a slower speed that you were doing before... that really irks me..

The speed was slightly above a loss of $150.... [lipsrsealed]

Road Hogging is defined as someone behind me.....not ahead of me filtering in.

There were no cars, taxi, bus, or aeroplane behind me. [laugh]

I purposely move slightly right and lift off the accelerator to allow the motorcycle to pass.

From the video, the Jaguar and me were passing cars in lane 2 not Lane 2 cars were passing us.

Anyway the car that hogged was the silver sedan ahead of the Jaguar.

What's causing my concern was the lorry filter but following too closely to the Jaguar. If bang, all bang... [dizzy]

So sorry, I do not meant you got no money to pay for illegally driving in Lane 1

However, you did road-hogged as the motorcycle had to undertook you on you left (you Elite, see motorcycle no up?)

Why not sent video to the Authority, to test your luck at road hogging?

Based on the video, that lorry driver very experienced and did signalled each time before filtering, to alert others

I believe our concern is that your driving manners create accidents for other road users (unless you were employed to create traffic accidents)

Bro, seems like you installed the video camera inside your car is to catch and pinpoint other road user mistakes but not knowing that you are commiting road hogging by driving too defensive in the lane 1.

Installed to have proof in case of accidents.

I was involved in a 7 car chain collision 2 years ago, 3rd car. Car behind me bang me, so my car hit the vehicle in front.

With a camera, it will show my car was hit before hitting the car ahead, save a lot of hassle and shorten the claim time.

Installed already must check if it's working.

Can download not so gracious driving style habit etc, for all to discuss.

Hopefully can make the road safer.

I may have to jammed brakes. But as long as I the other driver signalled correctly before turning/filtering, it is alright for me, as I can usually entertain that situation quite easily (not every driver very skilful these days, some handphone driving even...). It is those who signalled otherwise that I had to toot horn at them (signalled left for right/U-turn, or signalled right for left turn, or after tooting horn then he signalled).

The BMW driver was lucky the drivers from the Daffodils were not turning right to go home yet.

He was driving out from behind the bus, assuming the Golf is going straight. But luckily the Golf wasn't staying at Daffodils.

He was going too close and need to brake also.

If he banged... Then everyone else will go home later too.

Adequate good sleep makes us more alert for safer driving. Cheers

So sorry to learn about your 7-cars chain collision

Can I believe it took place along Lane 1?

You may be aware that for defensive driving purpose, Lane 1 may be the fastest lane to have accidents. Avoid it if you can

Example: I learn it the hard way in a 3-car chain collision. My car was stationery in Lane 1 traffic jam when rear-ended. Other than right turn, U-turn, overtaking, I avoid Lane 1 for defensive driving purpose.

Place: East Coast Rd leading to Bedok Camp .

If you think you want to file complaint to TP then email over: [email protected] c/w date, time & place of incident.

Thanks

So far I have quite a few videos of light goods vehicle filtering in and out of lane 1.

Since my camera only one lense, I also close one eye.

He filter in without causing any inconcvenience.

The only rule he broke is speeding above 70km/hr and tailgating the car in front.

Cannot see license plate, send in also no use.

Those I posted to share will not be sent to TP. Those if I sent to TP may not be shared. [laugh]

Aiya, TS, ignore them la. It's always the same tune for these few. They believe in the right to cut into your lane, even making you jam brake.

Saying otherwise just means you are a road hogger or "typical Singaporean driver"

Just remember, you twattish lane cutters, What goes around, comes around! :D
