So does this mean the train will have to appear in court to answer for the breakdown? Wonder what Thomas the train will have to say about this

"SMRT said the high train frequencies during the rush hour can lead to congestion when there is a train fault"

Why explain so much with all the irrelevant sentence like 'High train frequencies during rush hour can lead to congestion when there is a train fault'

Who don't know during peak period, there are tonne of ppl moving around & high trains frequencies.

Just simple sentence will do like 'We apologised for morning delay because of faulty train struck between so & so' .

So who cause them to have high train frequencies = commuters waiting to take mrt..

You must know how all these PR works.

In here if you read carefully, they are trying to put in irrelevant things to divert attention away from the main issue - that is the train breakdown. We do not need them to tell us about the human congestion, that is common sense. They should think of better ways to manage crowd control.

With such a big industrial estate in Tuas, it is no doubt the trains are carrying loads of people to this far end, and with JE as interchange, the crowding is definitely there during peak hours.

i think the MRT is 25-26 years old? The first gen trains are still running daily?

Even with proper maintenance i dont think the trains will be 100% reliable.

Do u know KTM trains are more punctual and reliable now compared to SMRT? KTM Hyundai trains are even older.
