Notice the K3 initial pickup is very slow & sluggish,is it due to the car is still below 1000km? May I know for LV Model.is it always at ECO Mode?Cannot seem to chg so would like to seek some advice here.

Slow pickup I feel it's part of the car leh, coz it's quite heavy.

 

I learn to accept it and accelerate more gently..

No point racing to reach next traffic light to jam break..

 

Need to get past the initial pickup then it's smooth and stable for high speeds. Some say it's coz only 1.6 non-turbo so under powered.

 

Just to me, pickup is not one of its strengths lah.

Does anyone know if we can check in the car 24h with the security guard at the CnC service centre(ubi) ?

 

I booked for morning appointment and would like to check in at 10pm the night before.

i just collected my k3 earlier this week. Noticed a strange behavior with the auto headlight. When i first got it when i use auto mode, the DRL will always be on which is expected, however today, in auto mode the DLR is not turned on (this was in the afternoon), but when i manually turned it on it was okie?

 

An issue with auto headlight?

i just collected my k3 earlier this week. Noticed a strange behavior with the auto headlight. When i first got it when i use auto mode, the DRL will always be on which is expected, however today, in auto mode the DLR is not turned on (this was in the afternoon), but when i manually turned it on it was okie?

 

An issue with auto headlight?

Make sure your handbrake is down then the DRL will ON.

Currently driving a 1 year old SX.. just did servicing at lengkee.. However the glovebox and footwell air con started blowing warm air while the driver's, passenger's top air vent and rear air vents are blowing cold air.. can also hear a high pitch ticking sound from the glovebox and smell exhaust fumes in the car recently while driving..

 

Anyone with similar experience?

What is your temp setting? The glove box will not be that cold unless you are on lowest temp setting.

The air coming out from glove box and footwell is warm and doesnt match with the temp from the other air vents.. did not have any issues for the past 1 year on 21°c and auto climate.. glovebox used to be well cooled.. just started behaving weirdly these days, with a high pitch fast ticking sound from glovebox/passenger footwell area as well

Did your AC are on circulation mode, or intake air from outside?

Only circulation mode the AC is cooler...

adjust your temp to 20 degree and see if there is a difference..

I think you check the DRL while your hand brake is up, move your gear to P, and hand brake down, you see if the DRL is ON/.

There is no Drive mode feature for LV or EX..only SX has it.

 

The initial pick up is abit sluggish, but if you Rev harder it will pick up faster...

As the car is new, so alot of people do not Rev Harder, or want to have the fuel economical so keeping the RPM low..

Of coz comparing to Jap made maybe K3 has rather slow pick up due to the weight.

Yes on circulation on but weird how only some air vents are affected but the others are operating completely fine! Will try it again tomorrow. ☺
